Harleen is a new transfer student at GH and originally from Brooklyn. She, her mother, and three brothers moved to Gotham after her father was put in jail.

She's a perfectionist, obsessed with being well-liked, popular, and good at everything, from sports to her grades.

Actually, she can be pretty obsessive in general (with a bit of a possessive streak) when she sets her attention on someone or something.

Harleen spends a lot of time either watching her three brothers -- since her mother works multiple jobs -- or training in gymnastics.

She desperately wants to be accepted and for people to like her, it's just that she's also willing to be manipulative in order to achieve those things. Which is a bit counterintuitive.

The exception to the above is if she decides someone’s wronged her (or someone else she likes — she’s sort of ride or die). In that case, she’s a tiny, intense ball of terror. (Please refer to the Coney Island Funhouse for details).

She can come across as the stereotype of a blonde, ditzy cheerleader, but she's actually pretty smart. Which is good because she freaked out the last time she got a B on a paper.
